The Canadian International AutoShow is Canada's largest and most prestigious automotive exhibition, showcasing the latest innovations, cutting-edge technology, and a stunning lineup of vehicles from top global manufacturers. Held annually since 1974 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the event offers an immersive experience for car enthusiasts, industry professionals, and families alike.
The entire show was organized across different levels of the center, with various companies showcasing their vehicles on different floors. I began my visit on the upper floor of the South Building, where I explored electric vehicles (EVs), including several bikes and cars. As I moved further, I came across a McLaren P1 display, which featured both a real model and a replica made entirely of LEGO, both in yellow.
Continuing my tour, I entered the Red Bull fan zone, where I had the exciting opportunity to change the tires of an F1 car using a power drill. I even competed with my friends to see who could complete the task the fastest. The tires were quite heavy to lift, but the experience provided an exhilarating adrenaline rush.
After that, I browsed through Red Bull merchandise and souvenirs. On the same floor, I also checked out several luxury and performance vehicles, including the Audi R8 GT, the BMW i7, and various other EVs.
On the lower level, I had the chance to see the Cybertruck, Monster Trucks, Ford vehicles, and the 2025 Mustang in one section. Many of the cars were accessible, allowing visitors to sit inside and explore their features.
I then moved on to exhibits from Cadillac, Hyundai, and Chevrolet, where I admired several Corvette models and life-sized Hot Wheels cars with massive tires.
A notable highlight was a vintage car of Allard, an English-made vehicle from the 1950s powered by a V8 engine. They also turned on the engines of certain cars for the audience to hear the engine roar which was extremely fascinating.
Another section of the show featured adventure vehicles designed for trekking and safari. I sat inside the Power Wagon and RAM trucks, experiencing their rugged build firsthand. Nearby, the Toronto Police exhibit allowed visitors to try on a 14-pound police vest and shield while also exploring a police truck and motorcycles. This area also hosted test drives, where attendees could drive select cars to get a real feel for them.
In the South Building, I saw an impressive collection of high-end and luxury cars, including Alfa Romeo, Nissan, Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, and McLaren. Additionally, there was a dedicated section for off-road adventure trucks, where visitors could experience a simulated safari ride over specially designed slopes and terrains.
Overall, the Toronto AutoShow is a must-visit event for car enthusiasts and industry professionals alike, offering a dynamic showcase of the latest automotive innovations, luxury vehicles, and interactive experiences.
