As the monsoons arrive it is mandatory to make one road trip in the forests. We started our journey towards no where without any destination. Once we left the city area everything started becoming green. After crossing dharampur we came across Hanumatmal village. We moved ahead and came across a huge river flowing below the bridge and above the check dam. The surrounding was very beautiful with all mountains covered with clouds and fog.

We moved ahead and could hear a waterfall flow. Stopping by a little waterfall we trekked for a few steps and sat on the rocks dipping our legs in the small waterfall. The water was all muddy due to heavy rains and it was a layered one.

In the village area there were farmers farming with the traditional method of using an ox. Crop plantation of rice was going on in all the fields around. It was all lush green and suddenly it started to precipitate heavily.

The surrounding felt completely like I was in tropical rain forest. After a few minutes the pouring stopped and we came across one more waterfall just by the road side. Water came filtered through the rocks and directly fell on road. The journey was mesmerizing with outstanding scenes and soft old music which easily calmed my eyes and mind. At one point of the trip we were moving side by side the river. Later on we crossed the Gujarat- Maharashtra border and once again entered Gujarat after travelling a few miles.

We also passed by the King's palace of Vasada. Unfortunately, visitors are not allowed to enter the palace premises but the palace can be viewed from the main road. We were passing by Ajmalgarh and decided to climb the location. It is quite difficult to drive up the steep roads of Ajmalgarh with extreme loop turns. Only a skilled driver could climb the place. We reached the Ajmalgarh top peak and visited a temple.

The scene from the Ajmalgarh view point was ecstatic and breathtaking. Entire village, rivers and hills could be spotted from above. We were in between fog and clouds and I could feel dew drops on my body.

We left the place as it started to get dark. Passing by the roads covered with huge tree canopies and filtered sunlight one could easily forget all thier worries, I indeed did forget everything. There was no destination just a long drive with my parents and discussions about everything as much as we could in rainy atmosphere. It was a simple trip with lots of serene memories. I forgot all my worries at once and seeing the local people happily living with minimum requirements, I learnt a lot about minimalistic living.
It seems the places you had visited in a short and simle trip are very beautiful and so tempting to be visited by us who are living not so far and away from these places. I am a resident of Valsad. Thanks for sharing the pictures of the places you had been to. God Bless You All !
