What is change?
I put forward explaining change as breaking the usual life routine and doing something new. Certain life changes come to us which are inevitable and some changes we decide to take for our betterment. There are various kinds of changes such as personal, professional, and societal change but I would like to talk about changes as a person.

Why do people avoid life changes?
People usually avoid changes for multiple reasons such as holding fear of what lies ahead, experiences they have encountered in their pasts that are unpleasant, and the comfort zone in which they reside.
When we don't bring a change our life becomes stable and we might miss opportunities that the future holds for us. One must step out of one's comfort zone and the routine too. Let me state an example here.
For example, a lady works in a work environment for years and she knows other colleagues well as well as her job. She is consistent in her work but has not been promoted to a higher position. She had an opportunity to upgrade her position in another company but did not move out due to her comfort zone. When a person resists such changes they lose opportunities.

How important is embracing changes in our lives?
Following a routine is a form of discipline but it also makes us fall into a loop wherein we continue doing the same thing all the time in a mannered way. When we break this loop and do something new we bring a change in our life.

What are the advantages of bringing life changes?
Bringing necessary changes in life has various benefits. Let us look at them one by one.
1. Personal growth- We learn to adapt to new situations which make us grow as better individual.
2. Expanded comfort zone- Coming out of our comfort zone broadens our horizons. We cope with adversity and learn to adapt.

3. Rise in confidence and motivation- When we see ourselves grow and put ourselves in different situations our confidence increases. We get motivated by seeing ourselves gain confidence.
4. New experiences- We gain new experiences as and when we change something in our lives.
5. Overcoming fears- Some fears hold us back from changing some things. Changing things willingly leads us to overcome our fears.

1. Atomic Habits- This book penned by James Clear tells us how tiny changes can make us exceptional personalities.
2. Grit- An outstanding book about how grit pushes us for long-term goals and changes written by Angela Duckworth.

Movies-
1. Up in the Air- A movie about an expert who spends most of his time on roads meets other people and learns about the importance of changes in life.
2. Wake Up Sid- One of my favourite movies in which a boy spending a luxurious life moves out of his home due to a tragedy that changes his perspective about everything. This change positively affects his personality and life.
When I first decided to move out of India to Canada, I considered a lot of points but one major reason to move out was to bring a change in everything such as my lifestyle, culture, and place to upgrade my personal level. This change put me into many difficulties and I am still facing issues my family and friends always motivated me and asked me to embrace this change and watch myself grow in the worst of positions. So always try to bring changes and keep going in life!
